Far away from the typical tourist crowds, Barot is a peaceful sanctuary surrounded by thick cedar forests. Spend your day sitting by the gushing waters of the Uhl River, visit the famous Barot Trout Farm, and take a short, refreshing nature walk near the Nargu Wildlife Sanctuary. After a full day of soaking in the serene mountain landscapes, we will drive you back to Chougan for a relaxing overnight stay.
Wake up to the crisp mountain breeze in Bir. After breakfast, the real adventure begins. We will pick you up from Chougan and drive you up the winding roads to Billing Top (8000ft altitude). Here, you can opt for an exhilarating 15-20 minute Tandem Paragliding flight, soaring like an eagle over lush green valleys before touching down safely right back at the Chougan landing site.
Post-flight, stretch your legs with a short trek to the pristine Bir Waterfalls. In the late afternoon, immerse yourself in the rich local Tibetan culture by visiting the Sakya Dirru Monastery and shopping at the Tibetan Colony Market. End your evening café-hopping in Bir, famous for its delicious artisan coffee.
Start your final morning by diving into history with a visit to the magnificent Baijnath Shiv Temple. Built in 1204 AD, this stunning stone temple offers profound spiritual peace and incredible views of the snow-capped Dhauladhars.
From there, we will take a scenic drive to the sprawling, picturesque Palampur Tea Gardens. Take a walk among the tea leaves, learn about the local tea culture, and capture final photographs of the beautiful Kangra Valley.
